Restaurants and breweries have gotten creative when it comes to navigating closures and limited openings. A brewery on Whidbey Island is doing something I haven't seen before. Pint Pouches. Wicked Teuton Brewing Company doesn't have any outdoor seating, and indoor still isn't allowed. Not everyone wants to buy a growler, and therefore they offer the pint pouch. Think Blade or The Vampire Diaries. These look like blood bags, or IV bags, but full of beer. Brilliant. We ordered several different styles, but my favorite was the Unicorn Blood CDA. CDA is a style you don't see enough. Cascadian Dark Ale. Some refer to it as black IPA. Wiched Teuton is brewing a really tasty one. Cheers!
