Modern Times Beer has never let me down. They have interesting styles, standard IPA's and consistently all of it is fantastic. And that's why I couldn't resist picking up their Orderville Double Dry Hopped IPA. I love how they list the hop varieties as 'a bunch of dank varieties'. If you're into hops, like I am, you'll love this beer. It's super hoppy and yes, dank. It's also smooth and thirst quenching. At the same time, it's not overly bitter. 7.2% ABV for this guy, so it's not just the smell that's intoxicating. Modern Times is from San Diego but widely available here in the PNW. They've opened a taproom in Portland, hopefully Seattle is next.
