A bucket list travel destination for me is Walland, Tennessee. Sounds crazy but it's true. I've been all over the world, but I really want to visit a place in TN called Blackberry Farm. It is touted as one of the best resorts in the country for its food, relaxation and scenery. I just found out they have a beer program, and that you can buy their beer here on the West Coast. I picked up their Classic Belgian Style Ale at Teku Tavern. True to the name, it is a classic Belgian. Lots of Belgian yeast flavor, peppery, lemony, and complex. It has the banana notes that you expect from a Belgian. This was a really nice Summer sipper, even if I was sipping it in my WA backyard instead of the Great Smoky Mountains. Maybe one day soon Blackberry Farm!
