A while back I drank a beer from the super old brewery Samuel Smith. It was so good I decided to try another style. Oatmeal Stout. I tend to drink more stouts/porters in the Winter months, but this one was calling out to me. Samuel Smith's Brewery was founded in 1758. You can find their beer in 18 ounce bottles, and some are available in cans. This stout pours rich and dark and roasty toasty. Smells amazing. It's full bodied, and has a complex flavor. Yes, we have a ton of beers here in WA but it's fun to try something new and old all at once. Samuel Smith's is worth picking up. Tasty stuff here.
