Strange times we're living in. Trying to maintain normalcy amidst social distancing. My good friend Chastity sent me a text and said, I just left something on your front porch. I open the door and there is a crowler! It was her way of 'getting a beer together'. And to support local brewers. She was in Portland, and stopped by Level Beer to pick up some beers to go. Many breweries and bottle shops (like Chuck's Hop Stop) are offering special hours and to go orders for us beer lovers. A crowler is a 32 ounce can. Two pints. Perfect for sharing! This was my first time having Level Beer. Taking a look at their website I see their original line is video game related. Love the graphics! The beer I sampled, thanks to my beer fairy, is called Lil' Hazy Boi Session IPA. Deee Licious. Many think session beers aren't going to pack a flavor punch. Not true. This is really great stuff. I'm looking forward to the doors of all our breweries and restaurants opening fully again so I can visit Level Beer in person. They have a ton of taps that sound amazing. But in the meantime, I'll drink at home while supporting local. Cheers, friends.
