My husband Matt came home from work with pizza and beer this week. Who wants flowers when THAT is an option! He brought back a big boy of Breakside Brewery Wanderlust IPA. Breakside is out of Oregon. I'm a little tapped out (pun intended) of Hazy IPA's. This is exactly what the beer doctor ordered. The smell is incredible. The taste delicious. They describe it as a Golden IPA that's dank and tropical. Indeed. Grapefruit notes. Crisp and hoppy. I could drink this every day. Absolutely incredible. I noticed on their website that this beer has won many awards. Well deserved. If you like IPA you will love this brew. While I hate that the summer seems to have left us, I'm excited for some IPA's and dark beers. I'm hoping beer and pizza becomes a regular thing for Matt. I wonder what he'll bring home next week!
