Are We That Much Closer To An Oasis Reunion? And We Look At Rock History

After a 14-year well publicized feud, there are signs of a possible Oasis reunion. After Noel recently declared that he’d “never say never” to it, Liam tweeted that Noel has been on the phone begging for forgiveness.

In the History of Rock in 1980 – Pink Floyd’s The Wall started a 15-week run at number 1 on the US album chart. The group’s third number 1. The Wall still ranks in the top 10 in album sales.

In 1988 – Bon Jovi and Mötley Crüe manager Doc McGhee pleaded guilty to importing more than 40,000 pounds of marijuana into the US from Colombia via a shrimp boat. McGhee received a five-year suspended prison sentence, a fine of $15,000, and was ordered to set up an anti-drugs foundation.

And in 1994 – Paul McCartney inducts John Lennon into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, saying “The thing you must remember is, that I’m the number one John Lennon fan. I love him to this day, and I always did love him.”
