At 75 Iggy Pop Will No Longer Stagedive & We Look At Classic Rock History

Big changes are in store for Iggy Pop shows. The Godfather of Punk was famous for stagediving during live shows, a move he started in his youth as frontman for The Stooges, but now he says it’s over. He says at 75 years old he’s “too rickety”.

In the History of Rock in 1973 – Trouble starts for Fleetwood Mac when their former manager, Clifford Davis, claims ownership of the band’s name. He assembles a bogus group and puts them out on tour.

In 1976 – Bob Seger released “Night Moves”. It was his breakthrough album and took him from being a local Detroit favorite to an internationally known Rock star. “Night Moves” reached number 8 on the US album chart and sold over 5 million copies.

And in 2014 – Pink Floyd’s classic album, The Dark Side Of The Moon made a surprise return to the Billboard chart when it landed at number 13, thanks to ultra-cheap pricing in the Google Play store.
