Neil Young is severely limiting the places he can do concerts at, saying he will no longer perform in venues that serve factory farmed animal products. He says he will only do concerts at venues that serve “clean sustainably grown food”.

In 1987 – The band U2 opened for themselves when they pretended to be a Country / Rock group called The Dalton Brothers at a concert in Los Angeles.
And in 1993 – Nirvana recorded their MTV unplugged special. Nirvana played a setlist composed of mainly lesser-known material and cover versions of songs by The Vaselines, David Bowie, Meat Puppets and Lead Belly. The album won the Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album.
