Green Day have announced a 25th anniversary release of their album “Nimrod”. Part of the release will be 14 previously unreleased demos and a 20-track live album. Here is one of the unreleased tracks, “You Irritate Me”.
In the History of Rock in 1967 – The Who’s “I Can See for Miles” was released. The single peaked at #9 and was the group’s biggest hit for the next 15 years.
In 1978 – All four solo albums by the members of KISS break through Billboard's Top 100. Gene Simmons effort will prove to be the highest charting at number 22, followed by Ace Freshly at number 26, then Paul Stanley at number 40 and Peter Criss at number 43.
And in 1996 – Def Leppard became first act in chart history to sell seven million copies of two consecutive LPs, with Pyromania and Hysteria.
