Watch: Ozzy Osbourne's NFL Halftime Show & Classic Rock History

Ozzy Osbourne performed at halftime for last night’s NFL kick off, but for some reason NBC only chose to broadcast a few seconds of the two-song set. You can see a video of the full set here:

In the History of Rock in 1972 – The Eagles’ “Witchy Woman” was released. It cracked the Billboard charts and rose to number 9. Don Henley said he “had a very high fever and became semi-delirious at times, and that’s when I wrote most of the lyrics."

In 1992 – Krist Novoselic knocked himself unconscious during the MTV Music and Video Awards after being hit on the head with his own bass guitar after tossing it in the air.

And in 1998 – An episode of the Judge Judy airs in which Sex Pistol Johnny Rotten appears as the defendant, and drummer Robbie Williams sues him for wrongful termination from a recent tour. Williams had claimed that the Sex Pistols owed him $7,000. Rotten said Williams quit and was owed nothing. Judge Judy apparently found Rotten was most credible and ruled in his favor.
