A new star was given out on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, sadly not for Danny Bonaduce but this time for Avril Lavigne. Lavigne’s career was celebrated with the special star-unveiling ceremony in Hollywood yesterday. Machine Gun Kelly and producer/musician John Feldmann were among those to speak while honoring the singer. She is one of the many artists performing at the iHeartRadio Music Festival on September 23rd and 24th at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
In the History of Rock in 1973 – Paul and Linda McCartney, along with Denny Laine begin recording tracks for Wings’ upcoming album “Band On The Run” at EMI studios in Scotland.
In 1977 – The Rock group Blondie, featuring former Playboy Bunny Debra Harry, sign their first major record company contract with Chrysalis Records.
And in 1989 – Motley Crew released their 5th album and arguable their best with Dr. Feelgood. The title track and "Kickstart My Heart" revolved around the band’s struggles with addiction and Sixx’s death scare.
