Another amazing reunion, this one has Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson reunited on stage playing “Closer to the Heart” at a very unique concert. They took the stage alongside Primus, and Trey Parker and Matt Stone, at a concert celebrating the 25th anniversary of the animated comedy show South Park.
In the History of Rock in 1956 – Elvis Presley’s double-sided hit “Don't Be Cruel” and “Hound Dog” was released. It jumped out to number 1 where it would stay for 11 weeks, a record that would not be broken until 1992’s smash “End of the Road” by Boyz II Men.
In 1964 – The High Numbers, who would later become The Who, played a gig. Just before the band were due on stage, Roger Daltry’s father-in-law came into the venue, dragged the singer outside and punched him. The band started their set and Daltry appeared back on stage after the fight.
And in 1999 – Kiss arrived on Hollywood Boulevard to unveil their star on The Walk Of Fame. The band had released over 30 albums and sold over 80 million records world-wide.
