There is a trailer now for, My Life as a Rolling Stone, the four-part docuseries timed to the Stones’ 60th anniversary. It talks about Keith Richards obsession with the Beatles and how much it drove Mick crazy.

In the History of Rock in 1973 – Having recently lost his wife and young children in a divorce, Ray Davies of The Kinks announces from the stage that he is retiring. He later walks into a hospital and collapses from an overdose of tranquillizers. This first retirement would last one week.

In 1989 – The population of Venice, nearly tripled when 200,000 people showed up for a free concert by Pink Floyd. The band performed on a floating stage in the Venice lagoon.

And in 2018 – Guns N’ Roses’ ‘November Rain’ became the first ‘90s video to pass a billion views on YouTube. The next closest ‘90s video was ‘Zombie’ by The Cranberries, at 739 million. It's now at almost 2 billion.
