One year after the arrival of Wolfgang Van Halen’s debut album, he revealed plans to record a follow-up. The LP was well-received, as was his first single, “Distance,” a tribute track to his late father.

In 1970 – The Beatles started a two-week run at number 1 with ‘The Long And Winding Road’, the group’s 20th US number 1.
And in 1975 – Peter Frampton played the first of two nights at the Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco. Recordings from these two shows were used for ‘Frampton Comes Alive’ which became the best-selling album the next year.
