A new Metallica fan was born over the weekend, the baby’s mom was 39 weeks pregnant and went into labor near the end of the show and gave birth inside the stadium to a baby boy as the band was closing out the night with “Enter Sandman.”

In the History of Rock in 1965 – During a UK tour Bob Dylan played the first of two sold out nights at London's Royal Albert Hall. All four members of The Beatles were in the audience.

In 1970 – The Guess Who hit the top spot with “American Woman”. The song was made during a break in a concert to replace Randy Bachman’s broken guitar string. T hey finished their improvised song in the studio, and it ended up spending 3 weeks at the top of the chart.

And in 1992 – Seventeen years after his first American chart entry, Bruce Springsteen makes his US TV debut when he appears on Saturday Night Live with host Tom Hanks.
