Brian May has hinted that Queen will perform at a star-studded concert at Buckingham Palace, to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The Platinum Party will celebrate Britain’s longest-reigning monarch’s 70 years of service.

The intended super group never got off the ground, and Yes would later reform to release their number one single, “Owner of a Lonely Heart”.

And in 2015 – 74-year-old Ringo Starr was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, becoming the last of The Beatles to receive that honor. Also inducted into The Hall that year were Stevie Ray Vaughan, Lou Reed, Joan Jett And The Blackhearts, and Green Day in their first year of eligibility.
