Motley Crue & Def Leppard Add More Dates To The Stadium Tour

Motley Crue and Def Leppard have rescheduled and confirmed that their Stadium Tour will be happening this summer and they have added five additional dates to the trek. It hits T-Mobile Park on August 31st and will also include Poison and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts.

In the History of Rock in 1968 – The members of Pink Floyd fired Syd Barrett, replacing him with David Gilmour. Roger Waters later wrote and dedicated the song “Shine On You Crazy Diamond’ to the increasingly unstable Barrett, who checked into a psychiatric hospital before going into seclusion.

In 1978 – The third time would be the charm for Kansas. After scoring Top 40 hits with “Carry On Wayward Son” and “Point Of Know Return”, “Dust In The Wind” entered the Billboard chart on its way to becoming the group’s only Top 10 hit.

And in 1990 – Freddie Mercury made his final public appearance on stage when he joined the rest of Queen to collect the Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music.
