Classic Rock Super Bowl Commercials, Bush Singer Gavin Rossdale Is Cooking

Hey, I’m Paul the Butcher… Classic Rock was celebrated on the highest level over the weekend. Super Bowl commercials featured Fleetwood Mac’s “Little Lies” , ELO’s “Showdown”, Survivor’s “Eye of the Tiger” and more played during the game.

Bush singer Gavin Rossdale is hosting a cooking show. He will invite celebrities to his home in the Hollywood Hills where he will design, prepare and serve them a three-course meal.

In the History of Rock in 1961 – The Beatles performed two Valentine’s shows in Liverpool. Paul McCartney sang Elvis Presley’s 'Wooden Heart', wearing a wooden heart pinned to his coat. The heart was raffled off, and the winner also won a kiss from Paul.

In 1987 – Bon Jovi started a four-week run at the top of the Billboard chart with “Livin’ On A Prayer”.

And in 1992 – The film Wayne’s World, which featured appearances from Meat Loaf and Alice Cooper premiered. Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” went to number 2 on the U.S. singles charts nearly 20 years after its first release.
