New music from the Scorpions. They’ve shared their new single, "Seventh Sun" from the band’s 19th studio album, "Rock Believer", being released on February 25th.
In the History of Rock in 1964 – The Beatles made their live concert debut in the U.S. at the Washington Coliseum. Over 350 police surrounded the stage to keep the screaming fans in control. One police officer stuck a bullet in each ear as ear plugs.
In 1992 – Motley Crue fired singer Vince Neil when he turned up for rehearsals, claiming that he had lost his passion for the band and was now more involved with racing cars. Neil would reunite with the band in 1996 and the Crue will be playing T-Mobile Park on August 31st.
And in 2005 – The original hand-written lyrics to ‘Candle in the Wind’ by Bernie Taupin were auctioned off at Christie’s for a record $442,000, to benefit Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
