Sarah's Beer of the Week 02.20.20

There is a Bellingham brewery that recently opened a tap room in Fremont. Aslan Brewing Company. I've had a few of their beers in can, so I was happy to hear they finally opened a Seattle location. I expected to see their Batch 15 IPA or their Pacific Ale Dawn Patrol. Instead, there is a wide variety of styles, none I'd seen before. Exciting! There is a nice variety, not IPA heavy. Stout, farmhouse, Pils, brown...something for all tastes. While I'm an IPA girl, sometimes I need a brown. Or a stout. The taproom is smaller than I expected, but comfortable. It's dog friendly. The staff were friendly and offered samples when I wasn't sure what I wanted. The beer is quite good. While you're not going to find a huge variety of their styles at the grocery store, you'll be able to stock up on some unique brews from their to-go fridge. Check them out, the beer does not disappoint.
