Nothing worse than a bar or restaurant that doesn't update it's tap list. Or worse yet, doesn't have a good tap list. That never happens at Kiss Cafe in Ballard. This time around I tried a Black Lager from Bosk Brew Works in Woodinville. They specialize in German influenced beers. This is one delicious brew. It's the kind of thing I love to have in the colder weather. Robust, malty, full bodied but not boozy. Oddly enough, its name is Goth Beach Party. I didn't think of a beach while drinking it, but did contemplate heavy eye liner and putting on Type O Negative. Matt ordered a Multipass IPA from Counterbalance in SoDo. I haven't been there in ages. Should change that. This too was a delicious beer. It never ceases to amaze me how many beers and breweries WA continues to put out. One of the many reasons to love WA!
