April 14th Named Bon Jovi Day in New Jersey

New Jersey's Governor, Phil Murphy (D) named April 14th "Bon Jovi" day according to msn.com 

April the 14th is the day that Bon Jovi will be entering the rock and roll hall of fame which is a very important milestone for Bon Jovi hence why Murphy picked this day to be Bon Jovi Day. Murphy stated he wants to honor Bon Jovi because they are "five musicians from New Jersey communities (who) believed in their dream and used their talents to form Bon Jovi, one of the most famous, enduring rock bands of all time," according to the Associated Press.
